Cenni Storici

Casa Alberti è un’antica torre in pietra risalente al XIII secolo che veniva utilizzata come avamposto per controllare la Valle del Cerfone. Nel corso dei secoli la torre ha subito diverse modifiche e numerosi ampliamenti ed ora, dopo una completa ristrutturazione, è diventata un’accogliente casale.
	Casa Alberti si trova su una collina circondata da campi di girasole, di grano, di grano turco, da un noceto e da un uliveto. All’interno dell’uliveto cresce anche una piccola vigna la cui uva, nel rispetto di un’antica tradizione familiare, viene utilizzata dal padrone di casa per produrre per sé e per i suoi molti amici un ottimo Vin Santo.
Infine la proprietà comprende anche un bosco nel quale fare lunghe passeggiate in luoghi incontaminati e, quando la stagione lo consente, raccogliere castagne o profumatissimi funghi e tartufi.

History

Casa Alberti is an ancient stone tower from the 13th century that was used to safeguard the Valley of the Cerfone river. During the centuries the tower has undergone many changes and enlargements and now, after a complete renovation, it has been transformed into a welcoming farmhouse.
	The Alberti FarmHouse is on a hilltop, surrounded by fields of sunflowers, corn, buckwheat, chestnuts and olive groves. Within the olive grove is nestled a small vineyard the grapes of which, in accordance with an ancient family tradition, are used by the property owner to produce for himself and his friends a delicious Vin Santo (sweet dessert wine).
The property encompasses unspoiled woods that are perfect for hiking and where one can gather chestnuts or fragrant mushrooms and truffles, when in season.
