Casa Alberti is an ancient stone tower from the 14th century that was used to safeguard the Valley of the Cerfone river. During the centuries the tower las undergone many changes and enlargements and now, after a complete renovation, it has been transformed into a welcoming farmhouse. Casa Alberti is on a hilltop, surrounded by fields of sunflowers, corn, buckwheat, chestnuts and olive groves. Within the olive grove is nestled a small vineyard the grapes of which, in accordance with an ancient family tradition, are used by theproperty owner to produce for himself and his friends a delicious Vin Santo (sweet dessert wine).
The property encompasses unspoiled woods that are perfect for hiking and where one can gather chestnuts or fragrant mushrooms and truffles, when in season.
